California—the kingdom of tech billionaires and woke politicians—should be the shining star of American education. Instead, it’s a complete disaster. The richest state in the union can’t even teach its kids to read and do math. Parents should be outraged, but leftist leaders carry on, pretending things are just fine.
For years, California’s schools have dragged our children down year after year. This isn’t just bad policy—it’s the definition of insanity. If throwing more money at the problem worked, California’s classrooms would be thriving. Instead, the cash vanishes into the pockets of union bosses and bureaucrats. Kids get more ‘equity’ lectures while their basic skills go down the drain.
Liberal politicians love to brag about “progress” and “innovation,” but let’s be honest: their so-called solutions have become a national joke. In the world’s tech capital, American kids get left behind, while the elites send their own children to private schools or exclusive academies. The hypocrisy stinks. Ordinary families are left scrambling while the ruling class pushes more failed experiments.
Worse, the globalist mindset infects everything. It’s more important to push Marxist ideology and social engineering than to teach reading and arithmetic. Parents shouldn’t have to pay for this nonsense with their hard-earned tax dollars. California’s schools spend more on bureaucrats and consultants than on real classroom teaching.
America used to lead the world in education. Now, the left has turned California into a warning sign for the rest of the country. If we keep letting liberal elites run the show, what future will we have? Maybe it’s time to stop pretending these people know what they’re doing, and start putting kids—and American values—first. How many more children have to be sacrificed at the altar of progressive failure before we say “enough”?
