Of course, left-wing leaders want us to believe that it’s not their policies driving the chaos straight into the heart of America. But everyone can see the truth. The city needed real help, and everyone knew it.
That’s why the decision to bring in the National Guard was a breath of fresh air. For the first time in ages, dangerous criminals actually started to think twice. Suddenly, people pushing drugs, stealing cars, or waving guns around in broad daylight had something to fear. Law-abiding citizens got a glimpse of hope. It was proof positive—when government really wants to get tough on crime, it works. But the radical left can’t stand to see order being restored; chaos is their tool.
Yet even with the National Guard on the ground, D.C.’s problems are so deep, so rotten, that even these true American heroes aren’t immune. Shocking news hit the airwaves—a National Guard member was shot. That’s right: not just hardworking residents or innocent bystanders, but soldiers themselves are now targets. What more proof do liberal politicians need that their years of pathetic policies have made their city a war zone?
What’s even more infuriating is how the mainstream media and woke bureaucrats keep pushing the same tired narratives. They worry more about the “feelings” of criminals than they do about the safety of actual heroes. They talk about “root causes” and “restorative justice” while our cities burn and our soldiers bleed. Meanwhile, families are terrified just to walk the streets. How many more Americans—or those who protect them—have to be harmed before real change happens?
America deserves leaders who protect the innocent, not coddle criminals. Washington, D.C. is ground zero for failed, far-left experiments. The National Guard member who was shot is just the latest victim of liberal madness—sacrificed on the altar of progressive delusions. Is this what the left wants for every city in America?
