It seems the left still can’t admit the obvious. Every time election security comes up, they panic, scream “conspiracy,” and act like basic rules are an attack on democracy. Well, 60 Minutes just proved—again—how deeply out of touch the so-called mainstream media is. They sent Lesley Stahl to interview a parade of Democrat insiders about election integrity, and what did viewers get? Another tired lecture that ignores the real threat: noncitizens voting in American elections.
Apparently, the left’s idea of “election security” is letting anyone with a pulse—and maybe even some without—cast a ballot. Common sense says if you’re not a citizen, you have no business voting in our elections. That’s not extreme. That’s how grown-up countries work. But Democrats can’t help themselves. They twist and turn every debate into a sob story about “voter suppression,” but never mention how refusing to secure the vote is an open invitation for fraud.
It’s no shock that a CBS segment led by Trump critics would ignore the facts and push Democrat talking points. Even with a recent shakeup in leadership at the network—a move that was supposed to bring more fairness—all we saw was the same old liberal routine. The left isn’t interested in solutions. They don’t want to fix the system. They want to control it. That’s why anytime Fulton County’s mess is spotlighted, they rush to downplay it. Why? Because they know chaos at the ballot box works for them.
Here’s the crazy part: the simplest changes are the ones Democrats fight the hardest. Just ask people to show proof they’re an American citizen when they register. That’s not “voter intimidation.” That’s called protecting the voice of real Americans. But for the globalists and their media cheerleaders, rules are the enemy—if those rules might block even a single illegal vote that helps their side.
The American people aren’t stupid. They want elections they can trust. They know letting noncitizens vote is a slap in the face to those who built this country and those who follow our laws. The next time some liberal pundit lectures us about “democracy,” maybe they should start by looking in the mirror. Who’s really afraid of secure elections—and why?
