When President Trump announced his decision to pause sanctions on Russia and purchase a massive amount of diesel, the liberal media lost its collective mind. The same crowd that pushed for globalist “green” policies while leaving America’s shelves empty and our gas prices sky-high now pretends to be shocked when a real leader does what it takes to power the country.
Let’s get one thing straight—the Biden regime, with its endless climate lectures, handed America’s energy independence over to foreign tyrants. We’re supposed to care about the environment, they said, while Americans paid record prices at the pump and watched factories shut down. The elites sipping lattes in Manhattan or Washington didn’t care. Ordinary families and workers paid the price.
Now Trump steps in, looks past the finger-wagging, and makes a deal that actually puts Americans first. The press won’t admit it, but buying diesel from Russia—while pausing senseless sanctions—means truckers can keep hauling, farmers can plant crops, and our manufacturers don’t go dark. The hard truth? Sometimes you have to deal with your rivals to keep the lights on at home. That’s called leadership, not weakness.
Of course, the left sniffs at the word “deal,” as if sitting on their hands and pouting is how you keep America strong. These are the same people who sent billions to unfriendly regimes while chanting about morality. Their hypocrisy is endless. When their “green transition” left us broke, they smiled and called it progress. When Trump makes a tough move to put our country back on track, they clutch their pearls.
The bottom line is this: Americans deserve cheap fuel, jobs, and stability. Trump gave it to us once, and now he’s doing what weak-willed progressives refuse to do—put America before global agendas. Maybe the limousine liberals should try worrying about Main Street for a change, instead of protecting their precious image at international cocktail parties. Does anyone really want to go back to the days when Washington cared more about Ukraine’s borders than our own gas tanks?
