Wisconsin just took another swing at election integrity, and it’s not a good one. The state’s Elections Commission has told all 1,800 municipal clerks they’re no longer allowed to check if voters are citizens of the United States. That’s right—those in charge of guarding our elections just locked the front door and threw away the keys. The one simple step that could help keep our elections honest, verifying citizenship, is now suddenly “off limits.”
Why? The excuse is a state law that supposedly protects voters’ personal data. But let’s get real—citizenship isn’t just some private tidbit you whisper in a confessional booth. It’s the basic requirement for participating in American democracy. Not checking on citizenship doesn’t keep information private. It just opens the door for anyone, citizen or not, to cast a ballot. That’s not privacy—that’s negligence.
This is what happens when liberals and bureaucrats run the show. They hide behind so-called privacy laws to undermine the foundation of our vote. Anyone who cares about this country, regardless of party, should be furious. Instead, the left shrugs and pretends nothing is wrong. And globalist interests are no doubt grinning from ear to ear—yet another state letting down its guard, clearing the path for anyone who wants to water down the power of the American vote.
Imagine telling law enforcement they can’t check IDs because it concerns “personal data.” That would be insanity. Yet, when it comes to the vote, the most sacred right we have, these clowns declare that the rules don’t apply. It reeks of double standards and political games. Is protecting the sanctity of American elections too much to ask? For left-wing officials, apparently, it is.
When citizens lose faith in elections, the country suffers. But for the liberal elite, that’s just the price of doing business. If anyone still believes the system isn’t rigged against regular Americans, this latest move from Wisconsin should set them straight. How much longer will Americans stay silent while the left turns a blind eye to integrity and responsibility?
