Elissa Slotkin is at it again, proving just how far Democrats will go to dodge responsibility. People dared to criticize her for sharing a creepy, threatening video—what did she do? Did she own up to bad judgment? Of course not. In classic liberal fashion, Slotkin decided to flip the blame onto Americans. Suddenly, if you have a problem with her behavior, you’re a villain—some kind of racist or extremist.
This isn’t surprising after years of watching Democrats play the identity politics game. Whenever folks on the right call out their bad behavior, they shriek about bigotry and try to shame you into silence. That’s their playbook—never address the issue, just cry foul and throw around loaded labels. Meanwhile, any real discussion gets buried under their endless accusations.
It’s a tired, arrogant move, and Americans are getting wise to it. Slotkin and the rest of her go-along-to-get-along pals believe they’re above reproach. Point out their mistakes, and suddenly you’re the bad guy. That’s what they want—obedient citizens who never question the people in charge. If you dare to speak up, they try to destroy your reputation.
Let’s call this what it is: pure liberal hypocrisy. They can say anything, pull any stunt, and the media will back them up. But if the tables were turned and a conservative posted something similar, there would be wall-to-wall coverage, packed with lectures about “dangerous rhetoric” and “threats to democracy.” The double standard is as clear as day.
Democrats like Slotkin care more about shutting up their critics than fixing real problems in this country. Instead of explaining herself, she’d rather throw mud at anyone who doesn’t fall in line. That’s not leadership—it’s cowardice. Why should Americans take lectures from the party that’s always blaming the public instead of taking responsibility?
