The shocking Yorktown story woke elites hope you never remember

On October 19, 1781, something happened that the woke crowd and their globalist masters would rather Americans forget. The world flipped upside down when proud patriots—ordinary farmers and shopkeepers—forced the mighty British Empire to its knees at Yorktown. The tune that played that day wasn’t just music; it was a war cry for liberty, blasting the old order to pieces. That moment should be burned into our minds, especially as some on the left keep trashing America’s history and mocking everything our founders stood for.

Those British and Hessian troops didn’t march off to surrender because they were tired. They surrendered because they were up against men and women who wouldn’t bow to a king. The American and French alliance dealt the global empire a humiliating defeat, using guts, brains, and an unapologetic love for freedom. Funny how, back then, we could make alliances that actually supported American interests—unlike today’s so-called “leaders” who bend to globalist pressure and let our country’s power slip away.

The left can whine all it wants about America’s supposed “flaws,” but they can never erase what happened at Yorktown. Our founders gave the world a master class in self-determination and real courage. No amount of historical rewriting from liberal academics will change the fact that this nation was forged in a battle won by those who rejected tyranny—foreign and domestic. These days, the anti-American crowd would probably call that surrender ceremony “problematic” or complain about “militarism.” Pathetic.

What happened on that fateful day proves a hard truth: America isn’t great because of government bureaucrats or unelected experts. It’s great because everyday people stood up and refused to be ruled from across an ocean—or from D.C., for that matter. Our elites could learn something from Yorktown. Instead, they’re too busy picking apart the very freedom that let them run their mouths in the first place.

Maybe it’s time to ask: Do we still have the guts and grit of the patriots at Yorktown, or are we just going to let America’s enemies—foreign and domestic—walk all over us while our leaders play nice with the global elite? Are we awake, or have we let the world turn upside down all over again?
