It shouldn’t surprise anyone that California, the bluest of blue states, is now openly admitting it doesn’t even bother to check if voters are American citizens. That’s right — the people running the world’s fifth largest economy can’t be bothered to make sure only U.S. citizens are picking our leaders. And even worse, they seem perfectly fine with it. If you ask the folks in Sacramento, protecting the integrity of our elections just isn’t a priority. They’d rather turn a blind eye and hope nobody notices.
Meanwhile, while California snoozes, federal officials are left cleaning up the mess. A recent DOJ effort, Operation Protect the Vote, has already caught more than two dozen foreign nationals trying to meddle in our elections. Twenty-eight cases isn’t a small “oops.” That’s just what’s been caught — and only God knows how many have slipped right through the cracks. Yet California’s leaders act as if election fraud is a problem invented by conservatives.
Liberals love to claim they care about democracy. But what kind of democracy lets non-citizens flood the polls and sway the outcome? Would they let a foreigner walk into their own homes and start making decisions for their families? Of course not. But apparently, when it comes to our country, anything goes. This isn’t just incompetence. It’s willful, anti-American negligence. The left talks a big game about fairness, but their version of “fair” looks more like open borders and rigged ballots.
Let’s not pretend this is about compassion or diversity. This is about power — plain and simple. The left knows that the more they water down citizenship, the easier it is to hold onto control forever. They’ll cozy up to global interests, let anybody cast a vote, and call it “progress.” Meanwhile, the average American loses faith in the entire process.
It’s time to start naming this for what it is: a calculated assault on the real American voter. If you don’t care who’s voting, you don’t really care about America. Maybe that’s exactly the point. Are we just going to sit back and let the radical left turn our elections into a free-for-all? Or is it time to stand up, demand citizenship verification, and remind these elites that OUR votes are not for sale?
