Why does the left lie about everything—even their resumes? Minnesota’s own Peggy Flanagan, a Democrat darling, has once again proved that truth doesn’t matter when progressive agendas are on the line. This time, it’s all about her dishonest claim that she was a proud member of Phi Beta Kappa, one of the oldest and most respected honor societies in America. Turns out, her academic record doesn’t back up this claim. Why would she need to make that up? Because liberals need fancy titles to sell their radical ideas.
Flanagan, who wants more “diversity” in Minnesota schools, used her so-called academic success as a golden ticket to push her own worldview on students. She paraded around her college story to look smarter and more important than everyone else. But when conservatives look at the facts, the truth is clear—she didn’t earn what she claimed. This is the kind of incompetence and lying that happens when the left becomes obsessed with identity politics over real achievement.
It’s no surprise Flanagan picked the University of Minnesota to launch her career. For years, college campuses across America have served as playgrounds for liberals who want to brainwash the next generation into thinking dishonesty is acceptable, as long as it serves a so-called “noble” purpose. Globalists, radicals, and anti-American influences are all too happy to let the truth fall by the wayside if it means more power for their side. Why bother achieving when you can just say you did?
Flanagan’s hypocrisy is sickening. She wants us to trust her on what’s best for our schools and our kids, while she’s busy padding her resume. If this is how Minnesota’s Democrat leaders act, what else are they lying about? If she’ll fake something as basic as an academic honor, what won’t she fake to push her left-wing agenda?
Minnesotans—and all Americans—deserve leaders who earn their respect the old-fashioned way: with honesty. Maybe it’s time to ask, if liberals can’t tell the truth about their own records, why should we trust them with the future of our kids?
