Democrats love to talk about “roots” and “community.” But when it comes to actually living where they run for office, those lofty words melt faster than a snowman in July. Enter Jessica Killin, the so-called “Colorado” Democrat running for Congress in the 5th District. The problem? Her “principal residence” is still in Maryland. That means she prefers the D.C. swamp to the Rocky Mountains.
Voters in Colorado deserve someone who actually lives among them, not some liberal carpetbagger who drops in when it’s convenient. Killin acts like she cares about hardworking Coloradans, but the moment you dig into her background, it’s clear she’s got one foot—maybe both—in Maryland. She’s spent years working for Democrats in the state and in D.C., helping to push the failed policies we’ve come to expect from the coastal elites.
And let’s not forget about her husband, Rajeev Date. He’s made his money off his government connections—classic cronyism—that helps his own pocketbook instead of regular people. The left always points fingers at conservatives about ethics, but they’re happy to turn a blind eye when one of their own is cashing in on government roles.
It’s always the same with Democrats. They claim to represent the people, but all their ties—personal, political, and financial—lead back to Washington insiders and big government bureaucracy. If Jessica Killin can’t call Colorado her real home, why on earth should Coloradans trust her to fight for them?
Isn’t it time for Colorado to elect someone who actually lives where they run for office—someone who isn’t chin-deep in D.C. politics and liberal hypocrisy? Voters deserve better than a Maryland-based Democrat who thinks showing up is good enough. Colorado deserves a real Coloradan, not another out-of-state wannabe with globalist interests and a taste for power.
