Supreme Court lets inmates get taxpayer funded transgender treatments is this the end of common sense

Once again, the Supreme Court has shown just how far we’ve drifted from common sense in America. The Trump administration tried to stop the use of taxpayer money for controversial transgender treatments in federal prisons—things like hormone therapy and transition surgeries. But now, the highest court in the land shrugs and lets a lower court block that policy. It seems, in today’s America, the feelings of a few criminals matter more than logic or the will of the people.

It’s bad enough our justice system is clogged with activist judges. But when even some of our “conservative” Supreme Court justices can’t see the problem with letting inmates demand these expensive, unproven treatments on our dime, you know we’re in real trouble. Justices like Thomas and Alito stood up for reality, but the rest let woke ideology run wild. Is this what “equality” looks like now—forcing the American taxpayer to foot the bill for gender experiments in prison cells?

The left says it’s about “rights” or “dignity.” But everyone knows this is less about helping people and more about pushing a radical social agenda through the courts. It’s the same story every time: liberals claim compassion, but the real cost is borne by hardworking Americans who just want their money spent on actual justice, not trendy medical fads championed by globalist elites.

Let’s not forget, federal prison is supposed to be about punishment and rehabilitation, not a taxpayer-funded spa for the latest California identity craze. Does anyone actually believe this will reduce crime or make our streets safer? Of course not. It’s just another way the left puts criminals over citizens, ideology over order, and fantasy over facts.

This decision is a disaster for common sense—and a win for the loudest activists who scream “discrimination” whenever reality stands in their way. If our leaders can’t draw even this basic line, what’s next—designer shoes for inmates who “identify” as fashion icons? America deserves better. If conservatives don’t stand up now, there may be nothing left to save.
