Another day, another Democrat crying foul when someone dares to ask tough questions. During a recent Senate debate, Abdul El-Sayed lost his cool after Republican Mike Rogers challenged him about possible connections to the Muslim Brotherhood. Instead of answering directly, El-Sayed threw a tantrum, suggesting that Rogers was somehow out of line for even bringing up the issue.
El-Sayed’s outrage wasn’t just over the accusation. He seemed more offended that Rogers questioned his loyalty to the Constitution. But why shouldn’t Americans expect total clarity from someone who wants to represent them in the Senate? With our enemies plotting abroad and chaos on the border, we need patriots—not politicians who bristle at basic scrutiny.
Liberals love to act like even mentioning topics like radical Islam is bigoted. They label any real concern as an “attack.” But let’s be honest. Too many on the left are quick to downplay threats, and quicker still to scream “racism” any time someone brings up uncomfortable facts. It’s part of their playbook: distract, deflect, and demonize.
The reality is, Americans want to know where our so-called leaders stand. Does El-Sayed really think glossing over serious questions will win him support? Maybe he hopes his allies in the media will sweep this under the rug, just like they do for every other progressive darling.
Maybe the real problem is that Rogers dared to call out a Democrat on something that actually matters. If asking direct questions is now “beneath” liberals, then the left has become even more out of touch than we thought. When did defending America become a dirty word among Democrats? One thing’s for sure: voters deserve the truth, not another lecture from the woke brigade.
