This kind of hypocrisy is getting old, but the left never seems to learn.
Authorities didn’t just stumble onto this one, either. They searched Lucas’s hometown office and even raided a cannabis store she had a stake in. It’s clear she thought she was above the law and untouchable, hiding her criminal business right in plain sight. That’s the type of arrogance that only crops up after years of unchecked power and soft-ball treatment by the liberal media.
And how did Lucas respond? Did she take responsibility? Of course not. She immediately started whining about being targeted by conservatives and blaming the Trump administration for a so-called intimidation campaign. It’s always someone else’s fault when Democrats get caught. They never admit to their own crimes or double standards—they just shout “witch hunt” and hope the media covers for them.
The double standard is staggering. Imagine if a Republican was caught doing even half this—front page news, wall-to-wall cable coverage, and endless lectures about “morality” from Hollywood and the ruling elites. With Democrats, it’s silence or, worse, excuses. Regular Americans are supposed to follow the rules, but leftist politicians operate in a world where laws are more like suggestions.
The left is quick to call for law and order when it fits their narrative, but their own leaders treat the law like a joke. This is exactly what’s wrong with our political system—globalist Democrats who think rules don’t apply to them.
