Kansas Democrats have a new problem, and his name is Adam Hamilton. During a heated debate this week, Hamilton was confronted for refusing to report a suspected pedophile at his own church camp back in 2005. You read that right. Instead of alerting the police to protect children, Hamilton’s church let the accused predator come right back as a camp leader the very next year. This is the disgraceful “leadership” the left wants America to accept.
The left never misses a chance to preach about protecting the vulnerable. Yet, when actual innocent kids are harmed, Democrats like Hamilton suddenly forget their “values.” Ordinary Americans should not have to worry about adults — especially those in trusted positions — covering up for criminals. But as usual, the Democrats play by a different set of cozy, self-serving rules.
Hamilton’s behavior shows exactly what’s wrong with liberal elites. They talk a big game about “accountability” but look the other way when it’s time to actually stand up for justice. How does someone like that expect to earn the public’s trust? It’s hypocritical, and it’s dangerous. If protecting children is optional for Democrats, what else are they willing to ignore for the sake of their political ambitions?
Let’s not forget: this isn’t just about one bad decision. It reflects a pattern, one we’ve seen time and time again from the left—make excuses, protect their own, avoid real responsibility. Where were the so-called “guardians of decency” when kids needed an advocate? Missing in action—again.
Americans should be disgusted, but not surprised. This is the same party pushing open borders, radical indoctrination in schools, and now, apparently, looking the other way when kids’ safety is threatened. Is this the kind of leadership Kansas needs? Or anywhere in America, for that matter? When will Democrats be forced to play by the same rules as the rest of us?
