Liberal busybodies and anti-history radicals want to erase them. Why? Because in their twisted worldview, anything old, wholesome, or uniquely American has got to go.
The leftists in blue-state New York see nothing wrong with tearing up beloved traditions. To them, horses in a park are “cruelty.” They claim progress demands these carriages be driven out. What about common sense? These same people cheer for electric scooters and bumper-to-bumper Ubers clogging the streets. They let criminals roam free. But an elegant carriage pulled by a horse?
