Dem Senate Hopeful Hijacks Epstein Victim Event for Woke Prison Rant

Michigan Democrats just can’t help themselves. Leave it to Abdul El-Sayed, now running for Senate, to turn even a press conference about Epstein’s victims into a circus about “trans women” in men’s prisons. While Americans demand justice and accountability for victims of real abuse, El-Sayed and his progressive friends are hand-wringing about how uncomfortable it must be for biological men to get placed with, well, other men when they say they’re women.

This is the sad state of the modern Left. Their obsession with radical gender ideology outweighs basic common sense, not to mention public safety. Americans know biological sex is real and matters, especially when it comes to housing violent offenders. Yet, here’s El-Sayed worried about the “unfortunate” consequences for men who want to be treated like women, even in prison. What about the safety and dignity of the women who would have to share spaces with these individuals if the left got its way?

It’s not just bad ideas—it’s dangerous. Whenever liberals push these woke policies, real people pay the price. Women lose their privacy and security. Prison rules and protections get tossed aside all in the name of “diversity” and “acceptance.” And meanwhile, the elites in Washington congratulate themselves on their compassion, ignoring the chaos they’re creating for ordinary Americans.

Notice the timing, too. El-Sayed chimes in at a press conference that should have focused on the crimes of the powerful and the need for justice, but pivots immediately to the latest woke cause. When did Democrats become the party more concerned with the feelings of male inmates than with actual victims of crime? Maybe it’s because globalist donors and out-of-touch activists pull the strings behind the scenes.

The American people are sick of this insanity. We don’t have to bend to every bizarre left-wing demand for the sake of political correctness. What’s really “unfortunate” is that there are still politicians more interested in headlines than in fixing the mess their own ideas have caused. If common sense doesn’t return to the halls of government soon, who knows what absurdity comes next?
