The latest soap opera out of Florida? Liberal judges playing politics while pretending they’re the good guys. This week, Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee have called out U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams for her behavior. Finally, someone is shining a spotlight on the judicial activists who have decided that their courtroom benches are thrones.
Judge Williams threw a tantrum over President Trump’s lawsuit against the IRS. Instead of being fair, she scolded him like a schoolteacher and even tried to get the lawyers in trouble with the bar. Because how dare anyone question federal power—especially when it’s aimed at a conservative? This is what passes for ‘justice’ when leftists run the courts.
Does anyone honestly think a Democrat judge would have treated Joe Biden’s team the same way? Of course not! But if Trump dares fight back against Washington corruption, he gets disciplined. The so-called “independent” judiciary shows its true colors every time conservative Americans stand up for themselves and their rights.
The American people deserve judges who apply the law—not political hacks with a grudge against Trump and his supporters. Democrats are happy to use any tool, even the courts, to protect their friends and silence their enemies. They love talking about “democracy” but laugh when real Americans dare to use their God-given rights to challenge the bureaucracy.
Why do the elites fear accountability so much? Maybe because if the rules applied to them, they’d lose. Shame on Judge Williams for putting her political bias ahead of justice. It’s long past time for the people to demand courts that defend—rather than attack—our freedoms.
