Is anyone surprised? The Department of Justice recently uncovered a so-called “side door” at Ohio State University’s College of Medicine. While young Americans work their tails off—busting their backs for good grades, high test scores, and volunteering experience—some lucky insiders have been able to bypass the whole system. That’s right, folks, while our kids spend years dreaming of wearing a white coat, a select group of applicants fast-tracked past the line.

For years, the left has promised us “equality” and “fairness,” especially in education. Yet, here we see another rotten example of the liberal elite rigging the system for their friends and allies. The left talks about helping the disadvantaged, but here’s the truth: their version of “help” is just a smokescreen to cover up backroom deals for their privileged pals. They preach about social justice, but when push comes to shove, they’re all about protecting their own. The average American, who actually believes in merit, pays the price while insiders get a free ride.

How many more “side doors” are out there, hidden away in our universities, government, and businesses? The system’s rigged—and it’s not hiding anymore. Maybe it’s time ordinary Americans started demanding accountability from the people who claim to know what’s best for us. Who’s really benefitting from this liberal-run mess? It sure isn’t us.
