Exposed NY politicians rake in giant salaries while skipping work and leaving taxpayers in the dust

It’s no wonder New Yorkers are fed up. While hard-working families hustle to make ends meet, the so-called “public servants” in Albany and City Hall are getting richer—yet can’t even be bothered to show up for work. These politicians demanded huge pay raises, promising they’d be on the job full time. Turns out, that was just another empty promise by the liberal establishment.

Instead of serving the people, these lawmakers treat their cushy jobs like a paid vacation. The numbers don’t lie—these are some of the highest salaries for politicians anywhere in America. But are taxpayers getting what they paid for? Not a chance. All too often, legislative chambers are embarrassingly empty, but the paychecks keep rolling in. If regular Americans skipped work like this, they’d be fired on the spot.

This behavior isn’t just lazy—it’s deeply hypocritical. For years, New York’s left-wing leaders have pushed for more money, more perks, and more benefits, all under the phony banner of “public service.” Meanwhile, the real public—the nurses, the truck drivers, the shopkeepers—has to foot the bill. It’s socialism for politicians and the working class gets left behind.

It’s also proof, once again, that big government breeds big corruption. The louder these globalist liberals scream about equity and “dedication,” the more time they spend ducking their duties. And what do ordinary New Yorkers get? More taxes, less service, and a growing sense that their leaders care more about their own bank accounts than the city or state they pretend to represent.

The truth is simple: The left’s elites know the system is rigged in their favor—and they’re laughing all the way to the bank. New Yorkers deserve better than absentee politicians living on the public dime. How much longer will regular folks tolerate this scam?
