Foreign giant caught stealing COVID relief while Main Street businesses left to suffer

Once again, global corporations are caught taking Americans for fools. An Ohio branch of a Japanese auto parts company is being forced to shell out $3 million after it cheated the system during the COVID pandemic. While hardworking local businesses got buried under paperwork and red tape, this foreign-owned company decided it would lie to grab taxpayer money by fudging its employee numbers. It’s the same tired story: big business gets away with it, and regular Americans pay the price.

Here we are, years after the disastrous shutdowns, and the true winners of the “relief” programs are being unmasked. Murotech Ohio, instead of playing fair, decided the rules were just suggestions—hiding entire affiliates so it could score bigger government handouts. Meanwhile, the average Main Street business got lectures and denials unless they dotted every ‘i’ and crossed every ‘t.’ Where was the oversight when it mattered? With liberals at the wheel, the bureaucrats were more interested in virtue-signaling than checking who was actually lining their pockets with taxpayer cash.

What a shock: the whistleblowers have to be the heroes, not the regulators paid to protect Americans. Two brave souls came forward and will each get $150,000. They deserve every penny for blowing the whistle on this scheme. It shouldn’t take private citizens to clean up the mess the government created in the first place. Maybe if our leaders spent less time coddling corporate interests and foreign companies, they’d actually defend the American worker for once.

This whole episode is a glaring example of what happens when D.C. pushes out trillions in “relief” cash with no real accountability. Global corporations see it as a grab bag. Small businesses get crumbs, or nothing at all. The program was supposed to help people survive—not let overseas interests cash in. Make no mistake: this is the kind of waste and fraud that happens when big government and globalist money get together. Liberals love to talk about fairness, but their own system leaves the door wide open for abuse.

Americans need to wake up. Every dollar wasted here came from someone’s paycheck, someone’s business, someone’s future. If we keep letting the elites and foreign companies play by their own rules, who will stand up for the people who built this country? Isn’t it time we demand our leaders put America first—not last?
