Washington parents revolt as girls sports face takeover by biological males

Girls’ sports in Washington are under attack, and local parents and students have finally had enough. At a recent rally, concerned citizens made it clear—they don’t want biological males invading girls’ cross-country teams. They don’t want their hard work and dreams ruined by unfair competition. It’s not complicated—boys shouldn’t be allowed to beat girls in girls’ sports. Period.

That’s what Initiative 638 is all about. This initiative asks a basic question—is it fair for males to compete against girls and women in school athletics? Any sane person knows the answer. Liberals, strangely, keep dodging it. Instead of protecting girls, they push confusing rules that favor feelings over fairness. The woke crowd wants to erase the line between girls and boys, all in the name of “inclusion.” Meanwhile, girls lose out on opportunities and recognition.

Washington families are tired of watching their daughters come in second place to boys pretending to be girls. There’s nothing progressive about taking scholarships, awards—even dignity—away from young women. But the radical left acts like standing up for girls’ sports is some sort of hate crime. That’s nonsense. What’s hateful is forcing girls to compete on an uneven playing field, all to satisfy a small, loud minority and their globalist backers.

Let’s call this what it is—liberal hypocrisy at its worst. The very people who scream about “women’s rights” are the first to trample them when it doesn’t suit their agenda. Girls’ sports exist for a reason. Why should girls train, sacrifice, and work hard just to lose to boys with physical advantages? The answer: they shouldn’t. Real equality means respecting biology and protecting fairness, not caving to politically correct madness.

It’s time for Washington parents, coaches, and athletes to draw the line. Initiative 638 is about more than just sports—it’s about truth, common sense, and American values. If we can’t even defend something as basic as fair play for girls, what’s next? Maybe, just maybe, it’s time to stand up and say “no” to the left’s anti-science agenda—and put girls first for a change.
