Liberals Think Texas Is Turning Blue But They Are in for a Rude Awakening

The liberal media is bubbling with excitement. They think Texas is about to fall into Democrat hands, just because a single Democrat, James Talarico, is showing a narrow lead over Republican Ken Paxton in the polls. Democrats are practically ready to throw a party. But anyone who really knows Texas knows better.

The left doesn’t understand the Lone Star State. Every election season, they get hyped up about a supposed “blue wave” that never comes. They pin all their hopes on the next progressive rising star, while ignoring how fiercely Texans hold onto their freedom and values. Numbers on a poll don’t change Texas’s spirit. That’s something the Democrats will never understand from their DC offices and California fundraisers.

James Talarico might be up by a hair in a couple of polls, but if Democrats actually think that means Texas is about to flip, they’re out of their minds. Texas voters know Ken Paxton is a fighter—he’s been there for them every step of the way. If liberals think they can sweep in with empty promises, big-government ideas, and woke talking points, they’re in for a harsh reality check.

Liberal elites love to lecture Texans about what’s best for them, pushing failed policies that hurt hard-working families. But Texas stands strong against globalist agendas, open borders, and the kind of chaos so common in blue states. The left’s obsession with turning Texas blue is all about power, not the people who actually live here.

So let the Democrats celebrate their poll numbers. Let them dream about flipping Texas. But when real Texans head to the ballot box, they don’t ask what’s trending on social media—they vote their values. Maybe the left should try listening to Texans for once, instead of trying to turn the state into California 2.0. Are Democrats really ready for another Texas-sized disappointment?
