The American justice system finally got one right. The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals just confirmed what most sensible Americans already know: illegal aliens do not get special treatment under our laws. They don’t have a right to bond hearings while they’re being processed for deportation. It’s about time we stopped pretending that breaking the law somehow earns you more rights than the rest of us.
For years, leftist politicians and open-borders activists have tried to twist our system. They’ve pushed the idea that anyone sneaking across our borders deserves the same legal privileges as law-abiding citizens. They cry about “compassion,” but what about the hardworking Americans left to pay the bill? These liberals would rather protect illegal aliens—sometimes here for decades—than shield our own neighborhoods from the chaos caused by unchecked migration.
While the Biden administration panders to globalists and promises the world to those who break our laws, real Americans are the ones forced to pick up the pieces. Schools are overrun, hospitals are strained, and cities are buckling under the weight of people who shouldn’t even be here. Yet, the left demands endless exceptions for those who broke the rules in the first place. Where’s the fairness in that?
This decision by the Fifth Circuit finally puts a stop to one of the left’s worst legal fantasies. Illegal aliens should not get a “Get Out of Jail Free” card just because they managed to stay under the radar for a few years. Equal justice means upholding the law for everyone, not just those favored by Democrat donors and activist judges.
When did it become controversial to expect people to follow the rules? If liberals spent half as much energy supporting American citizens as they do defending illegal immigrants, maybe the country wouldn’t be in this mess. Here’s a thought: if you want the privileges of living in this country, start by respecting its laws. Is that really such a radical idea?
