There’s no place left to hide from the dangerous fallout of open borders. Not even the peaceful countryside of Amish country is safe from the chaos created by reckless liberal policies. In Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, a young Amish woman faced pure terror when an illegal alien tried to abduct her at knifepoint. This criminal shouldn’t even have been in the country—yet he was lurking in our heartland, shielded by the failed sanctuary laws of New Jersey.
For decades, liberals have insisted that so-called “sanctuary” policies make communities safer. But time and again, these laws put innocent lives at risk and shelter those who thumb their noses at our laws. How many more American families have to be threatened before our leaders wake up? The Amish people are known for minding their own business and living by their values. But the radical left’s obsession with undermining national borders just put a target on their backs.
It’s not enough for globalists and their government enablers to ruin big cities with soft-on-crime nonsense. Now, innocent, churchgoing women in rural towns are being hunted, forced to fight for their lives in the face of predators who never should have been here in the first place. Who gave “sanctuary” to the Amish woman who had to defend herself from a knife-wielding stranger? Democrats would rather virtue-signal than actually protect Americans.
The message from the ruling class is enragingly clear: the so-called rights of illegal aliens matter more than the safety of hard-working Americans. Our laws are gutted, our borders are a joke, and the left winks while repeat offenders slip through the cracks. This is what happens when American sovereignty is traded away in the name of political correctness.
How many more Amish women—and daughters everywhere—will have to fight off monsters before this country gets serious about protecting its own? Sanctuary states are endangering us all. Enough is enough.
