Europe loves to talk big, but when the rubber meets the road, who stands up? Once again, it’s the United States doing all the heavy lifting. Marco Rubio had the guts to say what every real patriot has been thinking: the NATO alliance cannot survive if it’s just America standing guard, while European elites sip wine and hide from real threats. During the recent crisis with Iran, European powers shrank away, leaving the U.S. to face the danger alone. Some alliance.
Why do American families keep footing the bill for Europe’s safety? These so-called “partners” can’t even handle one rogue regime without running to Washington for help. Liberals love talking about globalist “unity,” but when things get hot, their precious European friends vanish. It’s American soldiers, American tax dollars, and American leadership keeping Europe from falling apart—not European courage.
It’s about time someone exposed the cowardice at the heart of this alliance. While Rubio may not be popular with the Ivy League or the cable news talkers, he’s right. The current arrangement is a scam. How long are we supposed to play bodyguard for countries who don’t even bother to pay their fair share? Liberals whine about “international cooperation” but are silent when the freeloaders duck out of their commitments.
European governments act shocked when they’re called out—how dare anyone question their contribution! But over and over, they’ve proven they’re experts in blaming America while hiding behind our military power. The same globalists who whined about “American intervention” are the first to beg for help the minute trouble starts. Hypocrisy at its finest.
America first isn’t just a slogan—it’s common sense. If Europe wants to keep the benefits of NATO, then maybe it’s time they started acting like real allies instead of entitled dependents. Why should American kids put their lives on the line for leaders who refuse to stand up for themselves? Maybe it’s time to lock the doors and let Europe see what “independence” really feels like.
