The Biden administration is at it again—sending even more American troops into the Middle East. Why? Because another high-tech, costly U.S. aircraft carrier is out of commission. The U.S.S. Gerald Ford, which was supposed to be the ultimate show of force, is limping back to shore thanks to a laundry list of technical problems. Now, another ship packed with thousands of our best and bravest is being thrown into the fire to clean up the mess.
Why does this keep happening under so-called “leadership” from the left? Our military is supposed to be the most powerful, reliable fighting force in the world. But liberal bureaucrats always seem more focused on woke politics, not military readiness. Billions get wasted on technology that breaks down, while the troops are marched off to another powder keg halfway around the world. Americans deserve to know why, after all the promises and big spending, our equipment still falls apart when it counts.
The truth is, Democrats love to talk about “modernizing” our forces—until the rubber meets the road. Their answer is always to throw money at flashy new toys while ignoring the basics. The Gerald Ford has been plagued by issues for years, but the Pentagon still acts shocked every time it fails. And who pays the price? It’s not the politicians jetting around in private planes, that’s for sure.
Meanwhile, globalist interests get exactly what they want—a never-ending American presence in the Middle East, all while the White House acts like they’re keeping us safe. But the only thing getting protected are the agendas of arms dealers, contractors, and cowardly bureaucrats who treat U.S. troops like chess pieces instead of real people.
Maybe it’s time to ask how many more times American soldiers have to pick up the slack for liberal incompetence. How many more billions will we waste before someone in Washington admits that their priorities are upside-down? If this is what “leadership” looks like, America deserves better. Is anyone in the Biden administration actually looking out for our fighting men and women—or just themselves?
