DC college set to charge nearly 100K a year is this the end of the American Dream

A university in our nation’s capital is about to cross a line that should send chills down every American’s spine. In just two years, students will have to shell out nearly $100,000 a year to attend college in D.C. That’s not for four years—just one. Are they handing out gilded diplomas and gold-plated cafeteria trays next? Or is this just another twisted result of the liberal academic machine run amok?

Let’s be honest. For regular, hard-working American families, dreams of sending their kids to a top school are slipping further away. College used to be about getting a practical education, preparing for a real job, and entering the workforce ready to contribute. Now, it’s all glam and glitz, with sky-high price tags slapped on by ivory tower bureaucrats who care more about their next Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion conference than helping students land on their feet after graduation.

The left loves to squawk about “equity” and “opportunity”—but where’s the equity in a tuition bill that costs more than most folks’ homes? Liberals in charge of universities have turned college campuses into playgrounds for the elite, all while preaching about fairness and “leveling the playing field.” What a joke! They stack administration buildings with more overpaid “diversity officers” than actual professors, push every woke cause under the sun, and expect middle-class taxpayers to pick up the tab for their socialist daydreams.

Meanwhile, these bloated institutions shamelessly raise tuition year after year. Of course, they expect the government—meaning you and me—to bail out borrowers stuck with debts bigger than mortgages. It’s a rigged game where only wealthy globalist families and well-connected insiders win. Everyday Americans shoulder the burden, paying for a system that doesn’t care about them at all.

This is what happens when you hand over the keys to out-of-touch academics and far-left ideologues. The American dream of higher education is being smothered by liberal incompetence and greed. Maybe it’s time to ask—if college is priced out of reach for everyone but the elite, who’s really running our country’s future?
