Gavin Newsom and his Hollywood insider wife have a real problem—her elitist attitude is showing, and America is sick and tired of it. Jennifer Siebel Newsom, former actress and now California’s First Lady, can hardly hide her contempt for everyone who doesn’t buy into the left’s favorite talking points. She actually bragged in a public interview about whisking her kids off to “learn about racism” in Alabama, as if the South is the only place where tough lessons exist. It’s like she thinks blue states are paradise and everyone else just doesn’t get it.
The arrogance here is off the charts. Only a liberal living in a coastal bubble could believe that racism—or any problem, for that matter—belongs to one region, one party, or one group of Americans. Has she read a history book lately? Has she stepped outside her Beverly Hills circle or checked out the crime and discrimination going on in her own California backyard? Liberals seem to think their cities are immune, when even Boston and New York are no strangers to ugly chapters of their own.
The worst part is the left’s constant need to showcase their “compassion” while looking down on working families who actually build this country. Jennifer wants to “expand her children’s empathy,” yet she rarely teaches them about the real America—where people face hardship, crime, and crumbling schools because of Democrat policies. Instead, she prances around preaching to America from her taxpayer-funded mansion while families in her own state can’t afford rent or electricity.
It’s the same old liberal hypocrisy. The Newsoms push radical ideas in California that never seem to touch their own privileged lives, then turn around and lecture the rest of us, especially everyone in the South or the Midwest, about decency and “doing the work.” Apparently, the only way to raise good, woke children is to parade them through red states and use other Americans’ histories as teaching props.
Here’s the truth: Americans see through these staged virtue signals. The left thinks talking down to the country makes them look enlightened, but it actually exposes how out of touch they really are. If Gavin Newsom thinks his wife’s snobby comments about “fixing” flyover country will help him in 2028, he’s in for a rude awakening. Maybe the real lesson is this—elitist, sanctimonious Hollywood progressives are the last thing this country needs in the White House. Would you want America run by people who think you need a field trip to learn basic decency?
