Liberals caught red handed Missouri childcare relief exposed as luxury scam for insiders

It’s almost like liberals have never seen a government handout they couldn’t exploit. Here we go again: five people, handed over half a million dollars from a Missouri childcare expansion program, apparently saw nothing wrong with stuffing their pockets with pandemic relief cash, splurging on luxury items, kickbacks, and extravagant travel. What was supposed to help Missouri children and families just fueled another Democrat-style scam, full of phony paperwork and bogus receipts. This is the ugly reality when you let government “relief” programs turn into all-you-can-eat buffets for the untrustworthy.

Names like LaDonna P. Smith and Dennis L. Douglas pop up front and center in this scheme. They stand accused of wire fraud and identity theft, all while parading as the next saviors of the state’s children. “Little Precious Angels Childcare,” “Above and Beyond Playmate Center”—these folks cooked up innocent-sounding daycares just to grab as much of that federal pandemic money as possible. They wrote fake bills, invented expenses, lied about what was spent and when, and manufactured documentation. The only thing expanding was their own bank accounts.

Who designed this train wreck? Liberals in Washington, eager to throw massive piles of taxpayer cash at anything stamped “relief” or “social justice.” The money came from the so-called Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, a globalist slush fund that’s emptied out American wallets and shipped the spoils to grifters, cheaters, and smooth-talking hucksters. This is what happens every time big government swoops in with “free” money and no real oversight. The only thing growing is the fraud.

It’s disgusting. Missourians are told these programs will support families. But look who’s really getting supported: corrupt insiders with fancy friends. Lavish kickbacks, $30,000 here, $20,000 there, checks passed between fake daycares and fraudsters all looking for a slice of the “relief.” The government demands repayment, but only after the damage is done. Meanwhile, working families are left wondering where the “help” actually landed.

Don’t expect accountability, either. The same bureaucrats who cleared the checks and rubber-stamped the paperwork will wring their hands and promise “integrity”—after letting the foxes run wild inside the henhouse. Liberals never learn: you can’t solve problems by throwing taxpayer dollars at them and hoping no one notices the wolves circling. When will Americans say enough with the failed big-government spending? Or is the next pandemic just another chance for the left to grease the palms of their cronies?
