This time, they’re targeting data centers—the backbone of our digital world. Their latest brainchild? A bill that would slap a pause on building more of these critical facilities, all under the flimsy excuse of “protecting humanity.” Sounds more like protecting their socialist agenda, if you ask me.
Data centers don’t just store cat videos and memes. They keep our banks running, protect national security secrets, and power business across the country. But Sanders and AOC? They’d rather grind everything to a halt, just so they can say they “care.” Funny how the same people who demand more access to government services also want to choke off the very technology that makes those services possible. That’s left-wing logic for you—never makes sense, but always tries to make our lives harder.
This push reveals what really matters to the far left: control. While American workers and businesses depend on these data centers, Sanders and AOC would rather appease radical activists who rail against “big tech,” even if it means torching the country’s growth. They talk about saving humanity, but what about saving American jobs? What about securing our information from global threats? Instead, they give us more big government roadblocks, courtesy of the same “Squad” that seems allergic to economic progress.
Let’s get real. While China and other global competitors pour billions into their own tech infrastructure, our progressives want to ban what they don’t understand. It’s the same anti-American bias we see again and again: anything that helps our nation get stronger must be stopped. The hypocrisy is glaring—these politicians are tweeting and live-streaming on the very platforms that rely on the data centers they now want to freeze. Guess their definition of safety is “whatever keeps their own power intact.”
Commonsense Americans know better. We need innovation, not socialist sabotage. Sanders and AOC can talk about “humanity” all they want, but it’s Americans who’ll pay the price for their reckless stunts. Maybe the real danger facing humanity is giving these radicals any more control over our future. How much progress will they ban next?
