It was another circus at the Supreme Court, but this time, someone stood up to the left-wing nonsense. During the hearing over birthright citizenship, Solicitor General John Sauer put Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson in her place. Finally, someone challenged the activist judges who try to rewrite our Constitution to fit their open-borders agenda. Sauer didn’t just have logic on his side—he had common sense, too.
Justice Jackson, as always, did her best to bend “history and precedent” into a pretzel. She practically sounded like she wanted the Justices to rubber-stamp a fantasy: that anyone who sets foot on American soil, no matter how they got here, should automatically get citizenship. Apparently, she thinks America’s borders are nothing but lines on a map—meaningless, a joke, open to all. When liberals argue this hard to give away citizenship, you have to ask: Whose side are they really on?
The left will say they care about the law, but anyone watching could see they care more about votes and globalist dreams. Why bother with the rule of law if you can flood the country with people who will vote your way forever? That’s the real plan. Justice Jackson tries to hide behind “the past,” but she ignores the real intent behind the Constitution—the intent to protect our nation, not turn it into the world’s doormat.
Sauer, thankfully, held firm. He spelled out the obvious: citizenship has never been some free giveaway. Birthright citizenship was twisted by activist courts years ago, and now the left wants to take that and run as far and fast as they can. Americans who built this country are watching as activist judges team up with bureaucrats to erase borders and shatter national identity, all with zero respect for the actual law.
The show trial in the courtroom said it all. One side slammed the brakes on chaos, the other side opened the gates. Now the choice is clear: either Americans defend their nation and their rights, or they let liberal activists and globalists erase what it means to be a citizen. How much longer will real Americans put up with elites who put everyone but their own country first?
