Eric Swalwell and the Democrats love to talk about “transparency”—but only when it fits their political agenda. Swalwell loudly demanded the government to release every dirty detail about Jeffrey Epstein and his twisted web. He had no problem smearing powerful men with just the hint of connection to Epstein. But when it comes to his own scandal—the ugly mess with Chinese spy Fang Fang—suddenly, he slams the brakes. The hypocrisy couldn’t be more obvious.
Why does Swalwell want the Epstein files out in the open but fights to keep the Fang Fang files locked away? Is it because Epstein’s scandal was juicy ammo against Republicans and big-name billionaires, while the Fang Fang files would reveal deep Democrat ties to foreign spy operations? Democrats would set the world on fire to expose anyone tied to Epstein, but as soon as it’s their own crowd, they start shrieking about secrecy, national security, and “context.” What a joke.
Think about this: the FBI has pages and pages on Fang Fang’s infiltration among American politicians. If we’re being fair, those files should be out in the open. If there’s nothing to hide, let’s see it all. But the Democrats—champions of so-called “sunlight”—suddenly go dark. They scream about “trusting the system” only when it shields them from embarrassment. The American people deserve to know just how deep the Chinese regime’s influence really goes inside our government. Keeping these files secret only stinks more of guilt.
Liberals are quick to point fingers when it’s convenient. Yet, if you dare ask questions about leaks, lies, or security risks among their own allies, they call it a “witch-hunt.” They love to talk about foreign meddling, but turn a blind eye when Democrats are the ones caught cozying up to Communist Party assets. Is this the “America First” mindset they claim to have, or are they just looking out for their own?
If Eric Swalwell really believes in transparency and the right of Americans to know the truth, he should be leading the charge for the Fang Fang files release. Instead, all we hear are nervous excuses. Why are Democrats so scared of the truth? Maybe it’s time to stop asking what they want to release and start asking what they’re so desperate to hide.
