Washington, D.C. has become a symbol of just how bad the left has failed this country. The so-called “people’s capital” is falling apart while career politicians and globalist elites line their own pockets. Just look at the Reflecting Pool—a national landmark covered in filth, ignored by the same bureaucrats who claim to love America. This is what happens when liberals run the show: the heart of our nation becomes a dump.
Now, President Trump has decided enough is enough. Unlike the do-nothing politicians, Trump is rolling up his sleeves—literally—to clean up the mess left by the D.C. swamp. Trump isn’t just talking about draining the swamp. He’s actually cleaning it, with help from Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum. Finally, Americans get leaders who are not content with empty speeches, but who see a problem and tackle it head on.
Meanwhile, the left will whine and scoff. They’ll blame the weather, Republicans, or invent a thousand new excuses. Liberals love to talk about “equity” and “progress” but can’t even keep their city’s most famous pool clean. It’s embarrassing how quickly they let things slide as long as it fits their anti-American, globalist agenda. Maybe they’re too busy fighting for open borders and sending our tax dollars overseas to notice their own backyards are a disgrace.
This is a wake-up call—and it’s proof that America needs real leaders, not virtue-signaling bureaucrats. Trump stands for action, pride, and making things work again. Of course, the liberal media will mock him and Burgum for doing the job nobody else wanted to touch. But what else is new? Leftists love making a mess and hate anyone who actually fixes it.
Maybe if Democrats spent more time caring for America and less time obsessing over wokeness, Washington’s monuments wouldn’t be rotting in plain sight. It takes a real American to look at that filthy pool and say, “We can do better.” Maybe it’s time the left asks themselves—when did caring for this country become too much to handle?
