This Passover, there’s nothing shameful about standing up for Zionism. In fact, it’s a badge of honor. Anyone paying attention should notice a disturbing trend: the left tosses around “Zionist” as if it’s an insult, a mark of shame. That’s how deeply the progressive crowd’s anti-Israel, and frankly anti-Jewish, emotions run these days. They disguise animosity toward Jews by slapping the word “Zionist” on every target they can find.
Let’s be honest—today’s attacks on Zionism are almost never just about Israeli policy. It’s about singling out Jewish people everywhere, pretending it’s only about some faraway government. But we all know the playbook. Radical leftist groups have brought their antisemitic hate to college campuses, city streets, and D.C. halls. They pretend to care about justice, but their double standards couldn’t be more obvious. There’s no mob storming the streets against China or Iran. The left is obsessed with demonizing one Jewish state and, conveniently, the people who support it.
This fits a larger agenda. The globalist left loves to pit group against group, weaponizing identity politics. They tell you who can be proud of their background and who should feel ashamed—and guess what, the Jews supporting Israel always get singled out. Democrats and their media buddies look the other way when hatred is disguised as “anti-Zionism.” They’d rather churn out endless headlines blaming Israel for all the world’s problems than call out real hate on their own side.
What’s even more outrageous is how quickly so-called “progressives” ignore real suffering everywhere else. There are brutal regimes murdering, enslaving, and oppressing millions. But do you hear a peep from the left? No. Their outrage is laser-focused on Israel and the people who dare defend its right to exist. Somehow, the left thinks moral grandstanding matters more than ancient ties, historical facts, or basic human decency.
This is Passover, a time when Jews have remembered freedom for centuries. This year, it means standing proud—standing tall against those who want to use “Zionist” as a slur. Conservative Americans should wear that word with pride. If the left thinks supporting the world’s only Jewish state is shameful, then they need to look in the mirror. Why should anyone take lessons on morality from people who specialize in hypocrisy and double standards? This Passover, let’s make it clear: we won’t back down.
