CNN pundit destroys liberal myths exposes NATO freeloaders and birthright citizenship chaos

When it comes to common sense on TV these days, good luck finding it—especially on cable news. But every once in a while, someone manages to break through the liberal bubble and lay down the facts. That’s exactly what happened when Scott Jennings, one of the few sane voices left at CNN, showed up ready to school the clueless crowd on issues that actually matter—birthright citizenship and the always-failing alliance called NATO.

Let’s not pretend. Modern NATO is a shell of what it once was—a bloated club of euro-bureaucrats more interested in virtue-signaling than defending freedom. President Trump gets criticized by every media talking head whenever he calls out NATO’s freeloading, but he’s just telling the truth. NATO keeps asking for our dollars, our troops, and our protection, but when America needs them—whether we’re dealing with Iran’s missile threat or anything else—they tremble, hide, and refuse to help. These so-called “allies” seem to forget that our generosity kept them safe for decades, while they dodged their share of the burden.

It gets worse. Iran is out there, rattling sabers and showing off missile technology that can now reach most of Europe. Do our European “friends” seem to care? Absolutely not. They sit back, enjoy American defense, and then whine the moment we ask them to get serious. This is not only irresponsible, it’s dangerous. America shouldn’t be on the hook for a continent that won’t even defend itself when the threat is knocking at their own door.

And while the elite class obsesses over defending a broken alliance overseas, they ignore the mess inside our own borders. The conversation about birthright citizenship couldn’t matter more right now. Americans deserve to know who’s walking through the front door, and whether they have any loyalty to this country at all. The left loves to shout about tolerance and open borders, but meanwhile, foreign adversaries exploit our system every single day. There are entire industries built around bringing people here so they can give birth and walk away with an American passport. This isn’t charity—it’s national suicide.

When common sense folks bring up these facts, the left throws a tantrum. They don’t want a real debate. They’d rather attack, distract, or shout down anyone who dares challenge their pro-globalist, anti-sovereignty agenda. But the truth is simple: American patience is running out. Why should our soldiers and tax dollars defend countries that stab us in the back? Why should we turn a blind eye while foreign agents sneak in and game the system? At what point do we finally put America first?

Maybe the real question is this: How much longer will Americans tolerate so-called allies who act like enemies, and leaders at home who care more about foreign approval than our own national security? The answer better come soon—because the stakes have never been higher.
