America put men on the moon more than 50 years ago. Back then, we did it with slide rules, American grit, and a can-do attitude. Fast forward to today—and NASA’s latest Artemis mission launches with all the bells and whistles, but suddenly even the basics fall apart. Picture this: the toilet on our billion-dollar spacecraft stops working, and nobody thought to send a plumber. This is what happens when American excellence takes a back seat to useless diversity hires and woke priorities.
Liberals love to talk up “cutting-edge technology” and government innovation. Yet when it’s time for action, their top engineers can’t even keep a simple bathroom in working order. Is this the progress we’re supposed to celebrate? Decades ago, John Glenn orbited the earth with little more than a glorified tin can. Now, with fancy tech and endless regulations, the best NASA can do is cross their fingers and hope the toilet doesn’t explode. This is the sad result of making everything about feelings and equity, instead of real know-how.
After plenty of hand-wringing and bureaucracy, the astronauts finally got their “lunar loo” fixed. Thank goodness for old-fashioned American problem-solving—maybe from the few engineers left who care more about solutions than celebrating “woke” milestones. But before anyone could celebrate, another problem: now the crew is shivering. That’s right—the heat systems aren’t working. Nothing says “world leader” like sending our best and brightest into outer space only for them to freeze on the taxpayers’ dime. Maybe next mission, NASA will remember to pack some knitting supplies. Or at least a few blankets from the thrift store.
Of course, the globalist crowd will make excuses. They’ll blame budget cuts, climate change, or whatever other nonsense distracts from their own mess. The real problem is crystal clear: NASA, once the symbol of American dominance, is falling apart under layers of government waste and left-wing micromanagement. Instead of fixing the basics, they waste time chasing fake projects driven by political correctness. The people paying for this don’t care about the next “first” or who gets another heritage holiday—they just want American astronauts to make it home in one piece, ideally with working toilets and warm toes.
Only in 2026 America could a toilet repair and a heating failure become front-page news for a space mission. Maybe someday soon, NASA will remember the spirit that put a man on the moon in the first place—not the one that can’t keep the crew from freezing their pants off. Is this the “progress” liberals promised? Because all it looks like is incompetence blasted into orbit.
