The mainstream media has become a circus, and it’s time we start handing out awards for just how bad it’s gotten. Between so-called journalists apologizing for criminals, doling out salad-bar politics, and reporting on backyard games with more passion than they cover real crime, it’s no wonder trust in the press is circling the drain.
Liberals in the media love playing savior to murderers and thugs — falling over themselves to explain away violence with tired excuses about “systemic” this and “historical” that. Meanwhile, hard-working Americans worry about real crime eating away at their neighborhoods. Where’s that front-page outrage? It’s nowhere to be found—unless it fits a woke narrative, or can be twisted into another tired attack on law enforcement and proud patriots.
Let’s not pretend the news is still about facts. It’s about feelings, drama, and pushing the globalist agenda. While Americans struggle to put food on the table, these self-important correspondents are busy making “political salads” — mixing up nonsense stories and calling it journalism. They care more about impressing each other at swanky New York parties than actually telling the truth. Truth has become a side dish, not the main course.
And just when you think reporting can’t get dumber, here comes the media fascination with a “capable cornhole killer.” That’s right, apparently you can make headlines these days for tossing bean bags — as long as it distracts from Democrat disasters and Biden’s daily blunders. The nation’s falling apart at the seams, and our press corps is out here scoreboard-watching lawn games.
This isn’t innocent fun. It’s incompetence, laziness, and a slap in the face to Americans hungry for accountability. You can bet these so-called journalists will pat themselves on the back with even more made-up awards at the end of the year. Maybe their next nomination will be for best fiction—since that’s all they’re producing anymore. When did reporting become a joke—and why aren’t more Americans laughing?
