Once again, President Trump has done what the weak-kneed college sports bureaucrats refused to do for years. He signed an executive order to finally clean up the chaos in college athletics. No more endless eligibility. No more transfer free-for-alls. These are real rules to protect fair play—and they couldn’t have come soon enough.
For too long, the left has cheered as college sports turned into a circus. Players jump from school to school chasing quick fame, while so-called “leaders” twiddle their thumbs. The NCAA, stuffed with unelected pencil-pushers, would rather bow to woke demands than make tough calls. Liberal elites claimed unlimited transfers and endless eligibility were somehow “fair.” All it did was create confusion, ruin team loyalty, and encourage students to treat college like a revolving door.
Trump’s order brings back sanity. By limiting years of eligibility and capping transfers, he’s forcing college sports back to its roots: commitment, discipline, and respect for the game. Isn’t it amazing that it took a president—not the college presidents—to finally stand up and say enough is enough? The idea that a kid can hop between schools year after year, never truly belonging, never honoring any commitment—that’s not just wrong, it’s downright un-American.
Naturally, the liberal mob is losing its mind. They’ll whine about so-called “freedom.” What they really want is more chaos. They want academic standards tossed aside, and team spirit destroyed, all for the sake of cheap political points. Meanwhile, globalist corporations cheer for the unpredictability. Why? Because it helps their bottom line, not America’s student-athletes.
Trump gets it. He knows we need real rules and strong values to hold things together, on the field and off. Are we building a generation of winners, or just training kids to game the system? Thanks to this executive order, America might finally see a return of real sportsmanship—no thanks to left-wing incompetence or globalist greed.
