Finally, some common sense returns to America’s armed forces. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth just did what Joe Biden and his anti-gun cronies wouldn’t dare—he’s letting our nation’s heroes exercise their Second Amendment rights on their own bases. That’s right. The days of disarming the very people trained to defend us are over.
For too long, Biden’s dangerous policy left service members helpless, stripped of their right to carry personal firearms. Liberals claimed it was for “safety.” But who was really safer—our soldiers or the potential threats lurking in plain sight? Only the globalist elite could dream up something as backwards as keeping guns away from the most qualified individuals to use them.
It’s an absolute embarrassment that troops who swore to protect America weren’t even trusted enough to protect themselves on home soil. Democrats never miss a chance to treat grown adults—especially those in uniform—like children. First, they push gun-free zones, then act shocked when tragedy strikes, all while ignoring the reality that criminals don’t care about rules.
This bold move by Hegseth is long overdue. Our service members aren’t coddled college kids or woke bureaucrats—they’re trained professionals. They know how to handle firearms responsibly. Trying to “keep them safe” by making them sitting ducks was always a liberal lie designed to control, not protect.
When you have a President more worried about winning over European elites than backing his own troops, this is what you get—muzzled patriots and open invitations to disaster. If America can’t trust her military with firearms, who can we trust? Let’s hope Hegseth’s reversal signals the end of this anti-American nonsense. For once, a leader put faith in our finest. Isn’t it about time the left stopped treating our soldiers like the enemy and started letting them act like the defenders they are?
