It’s another day in Washington, and once again, the Biden administration is shining a spotlight on the wrong people. Word is swirling that Harmeet Dhillon, currently running the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice, is next in line for a cushy promotion to Associate Attorney General—the third most powerful post in the DOJ. That’s the kind of clout that globalists and left-wing activists dream about—and now, it’s being handed to one of their own.
In this administration, it’s clear: loyalty to the far-left agenda is the only résumé that matters. Americans have watched as one radical after another climbs the DOJ ladder, pushing “equity” over equality, and bending the rules to fit some twisted vision of “social justice.” Merit and real public service take the backseat while career politicians and activists pat each other on the back. At this point, expecting anything different from this administration would be like believing gas prices are actually going down.
Let’s not pretend this is about protecting civil rights for all Americans. Under the current DOJ leadership, the “civil rights” banner has become a weapon. The tools designed to defend our freedoms now target parents at school board meetings, Christians, and anyone who dares stand up to the regime. Meanwhile, violent crime is exploding, but you won’t see these officials lifting a finger against the real threats plaguing our communities.
Of course, Dhillon’s promotion is being hyped as some grand victory for diversity and “progress.” But what’s actually “progressing” here? It’s more of the same elite club protecting its own and shutting out those who don’t march to the left’s drumbeat. With every new appointment, it’s obvious: for Biden’s team, it’s not about serving the American people, it’s about consolidating power and crushing dissent.
If this is the best America’s so-called justice system can do, then maybe it’s time for a reset—a real one. When will we see an administration that puts citizens first instead of promoting woke warriors who only answer to the D.C. echo chamber?
