It’s happening again: Europe’s leaders are running scared, folding like a cheap lawn chair in the face of Iran and its terrorist cronies. Instead of standing with America to confront the Islamist regime, they’re tripping over themselves with bureaucratic excuses and hiding behind “diplomacy.” Their play-it-safe game only encourages more aggression from Tehran and makes the West look pathetic.
Now, thanks to these weak-kneed allies, Republicans here in the U.S. are finally asking—what’s the point? Why should America keep propping up a NATO alliance that’s more interested in appeasing rogue regimes than defending basic freedom? Our so-called partners won’t lift a finger unless the threat lands on their own doorstep. Meanwhile, they keep cashing in on our security and pretending they’re still global power players.
It’s no wonder President Trump is at the center of this firestorm. Conservative leaders and everyday Americans are rallying around him for one simple reason: he puts our country first. While globalist mouthpieces whine about “shared responsibilities,” Republicans see through the charade. Europe wants all the benefits of American strength but shrinks from the real fight the minute things get tough.
The sad truth is, leftist politicians on both sides of the Atlantic keep making excuses for Europe’s cowardice. They wring their hands about “potential blowback” from Iran while Americans foot the bill and shoulder the risks. This isn’t about diplomacy—it’s about leaders who are too spineless to defend their own people, let alone stand by their strongest ally.
If the best strategy Europe can offer is running and hiding from bullies, maybe it’s time we rethink this whole alliance. Why keep funding weakness? Why settle for freeloaders who leave us hanging when it counts the most? Maybe what the West needs is more American backbone—and a lot less European indecision.
