New Pope Dodges Evil as Faith Under Attack on Easter Sunday

On Easter Sunday, as billions of Christians honored the resurrection of Christ, the new pope stepped up to the microphone—and delivered yet another bland call for peace through “dialogue.” Pope Leo XIV, marking his first Easter as pontiff, looked out at the world and, like too many global elites, couldn’t bring himself to address the real problem: evil on the march and faith under attack.

It’s easy for religious leaders and progressive politicians to keep chanting about laying down arms. But that tired script ignores the ugly truth—sometimes bad actors only understand strength. Whether it’s terrorists in the Middle East, rogue regimes in Asia, or thugs harassing Christians in Europe’s streets, the West is under assault. Demanding “peace” while pretending these dangers don’t exist isn’t courage. It’s weakness disguised as moral superiority.

Liberals love these speeches because they make everyone feel warm inside without having to solve anything. They’ll swoon over photo ops, hashtags, and virtue signaling, all while the threats around us grow. Globalists and anti-American leftists cheer as Western values get trampled, our border security is mocked, and religious freedom is sacrificed on the altar of political correctness.

Anyone paying attention knows true peace requires more than empty words. It takes resolve, a willingness to confront evil, and the courage to stand up for what’s right—even when it’s unpopular with the global elite. When the West caves and apologizes for wanting secure borders, safe communities, or strong military defense, who benefits? Not hard-working families. Not persecuted Christians. Not average Americans. Only the left-wing bureaucrats and power-hungry world leaders cash in on the chaos.

Maybe the pope thinks more talk will make tyrants and terrorists rethink their plans. But history says otherwise. The world doesn’t need more hollow speeches echoing through marble halls in Rome or Brussels. It needs leaders willing to defend faith, freedom, and the truth—even when the liberal mob screams for surrender. With the world teetering on the edge, isn’t it time for courage, not just more calls for “peace”?
