America is shooting for the stars—literally. Politicians and bureaucrats are clapping themselves on the back as they funnel trillions into shiny new rockets. They call it progress. They celebrate every moon mission like it’s the next great American achievement. All while the rest of us are stuck down here, wondering how we’re supposed to keep the fridge full and the lights on.
Let’s get real. What exactly is the point of another moon landing if regular Americans can’t even buy a gallon of milk without feeling the pinch? Prices are skyrocketing, grocery bills are through the roof, and working families are getting hammered. But the people in Washington seem more interested in taking selfies inside high-tech spaceships than fixing the nightmare they created right here on Earth.
It’s unbelievable how fast they find money when it comes to space travel. Where’s that same energy when American families can’t make ends meet? Liberals always whine about not having enough cash for the border or public safety, but they open the firehose when it’s time for another big, expensive space project. The hypocrisy is off the charts.
Maybe some elitist globalists want us looking to the stars so we forget what’s happening in our own neighborhoods. They’d rather spend our tax dollars on lunar adventures than help the parents who just want to feed their kids. If that’s progress, it’s the kind only a D.C. bureaucrat could love.
Here’s a radical idea: how about we solve America’s problems before we start building condos on Mars? Moon landings won’t fill an empty pantry. Maybe it’s time the politicians remembered which planet they’re supposed to serve.
