CBS Axes Colbert as Viewers Reject Woke Comedy Network Scrambles in Ratings Freefall

Another liberal late-night show bites the dust. CBS finally pulled the plug on their tired, leftist comedy hour, giving Stephen Colbert and his big government rants the boot. Viewers have made it crystal clear—they’re tired of the smug, one-sided lectures and fake news sprinkled with laugh tracks. With Colbert out, the network is scrambling to fill the gaping hole left by years of anti-Trump, anti-America propaganda sold as “entertainment.”

Starting May 22, CBS desperately tries to patch things up with two back-to-back episodes of “Comics Unleashed” every weekday at 11:35 p.m. This is hardly a bold move. In fact, it’s about as uninspired as you’d expect from a network that’s lost all touch with the real heartbeat of the country. Instead of refreshing, original programming that celebrates real American values, they’re giving the audience recycled stand-up bits. When will Hollywood learn that Americans want substance, not just style?

For years, Colbert used his platform to mock conservatives, push woke ideology, and carry water for the Democratic Party. While he pretended to serve up satire, he really just spewed hatred for everyday patriots who love this country. No wonder ratings spiraled. Ordinary Americans are waking up. They’re not satisfied with being insulted each night by elitists who don’t reflect their lives or values.

Of course, CBS doesn’t get this. Rather than admit defeat and offer a genuine alternative to the late-night liberal clique, they’re just rearranging the chairs on the sinking ship. It’s the same old Hollywood trick—mask the problem, never solve it, and hope the audience is gullible enough to keep tuning in. But viewers are smarter than that. They see the phony virtue-signaling and out-of-touch programming for what it is.

Will the network ever realize that real Americans are starving for truth, not leftist talking points disguised as comedy? Or will they just keep doubling down as their audiences shrink and competition leaves them in the dust? Maybe it’s time CBS learned a hard lesson: America isn’t laughing at their clown show anymore.
