Democrats defend communist Cuba and blame America while ordinary Cubans suffer under socialism

The mask has come off. Today’s Democrats aren’t hiding their real goal anymore—they want to shove socialism down every American throat. Just look at the latest stunt from the “Progressive” caucus. Instead of standing up for American values, a couple of our own Congress members have decided to play cheerleader for Cuba’s communist dictatorship. Yes, you read that right—they’re not only cozying up to the Cuban regime, but dragging along some far-left activists to help prop up the disastrous system that’s been crushing ordinary Cubans for decades.

The left has always loved to blame America first. Now they’re pointing fingers at the US oil embargo, rather than the nightmare of communism itself, for Cuban suffering. Let’s get real. Cuba has been a socialist disaster since Castro’s henchmen took over. While party elites feast, everyday Cubans wait hours for food and electricity. That’s what socialism looks like, every single time. But according to Democrats, it’s always America’s fault—never the failed system they worship.

It doesn’t stop there. Radical groups like Code Pink are flocking to help Cuba’s crumbling regime limp along. Why? Because these organizations—and their buddies in Congress—share the same soft spot for tyranny, as long as it’s draped in a red flag. Instead of fighting for freedom and prosperity, they fight for more government control, less individual liberty, and more excuses for oppression.

What’s even more telling is the complete silence from so-called “mainstream” Democrats. Not a peep of protest when their colleagues go to bat for a communist regime. Apparently, the suffering of real people under socialism doesn’t matter as long as it helps the left score some political points. Hypocrisy doesn’t even begin to cover it.

While Americans struggle with rising costs at home, our elected officials would rather jet off to Havana and make excuses for failed Marxist dictators. If the Democrats love socialist misery so much, maybe they should spend a little more time living in what they’ve built—because the American people are sick of seeing our leaders side with regimes that crush freedom. How many more times will we let radical progressives put foreign tyrants above American values?
