The liberal media hive never fails to reward their own. Take Aaron Rupar—a man who made a living glued to his computer screen, searching every word President Trump says, pouncing on every slip and every so-called “offense.” That’s his life’s mission: catch Trump, distort the facts, sell the public half the truth. And now, one of the UK’s highbrow newspapers is singing his praises, treating him like some kind of hero for doing it.
Let’s get real. Rupar isn’t a reporter. He’s a clip-farmer for the radical left, chopping up video snippets to strip leaders like Trump of context and feed outrage. His job isn’t to inform, but to inflame. Liberals eat it up, celebrating anyone who helps drag Trump’s name through the mud, no matter how slimy the tactic.
Of course, the British media is happy to play along. Why wouldn’t they? Britain’s elites have spent years sneering at American values, with all their globalist airs and anti-Trump obsessions. So naturally, they see Rupar’s Twitter crusade as “public service,” as if obsessively targeting one man equals journalism.
What Rupar does is exactly what’s wrong with today’s left-wing press. They don’t care about the truth. They care about the narrative. If twisting a video helps them make conservatives look bad, then so be it. Who needs full speeches when you can cut a three-second soundbite and spread it like wildfire?
It’s no wonder trust in the media is at rock bottom. When liberals prop up people like Rupar—rewarding obsession, distortion, and raw partisanship—there’s no room left for honesty. Is this the kind of journalism Americans deserve—or just more proof the media machine is broken beyond repair?
