America’s public schools were once proud places to learn reading, writing, and arithmetic. Now? Many are fast becoming radical breeding grounds for leftist activism—and antisemitic hatred. Forget about teaching five-year-olds how to read or do math. Today’s public school agenda is all about teaching them to despise America, distrust their own history, and blame Jews for the world’s problems.
Chicago, for example, is almost unrecognizable. The teachers’ union there isn’t just canceling school for political “resistance days.” It’s actively pushing lessons that tell kids America is a source of evil and that standing up for Israel—or even using the traditional definition of antisemitism—is some kind of thought crime. At so-called “educator workshops,” teachers are told to scrap the Anti-Defamation League entirely, since the group’s definition of antisemitism is apparently too “unfair” to those who hate Israel. The real unfairness? Indoctrinating kids with activist nonsense while barely a third can read at grade level and math performance is in a free fall.
The rot isn’t limited to Chicago. In New York City, far-left activists host “teach-ins” on Zionism and so-called “Palestinian resistance”—even targeting kindergartners. Don’t believe the bureaucrats when they claim these hate-fests aren’t happening in schools. The evidence is everywhere online: teachers hailing Hamas terrorists, denying the slaughter and rape of Israelis on October 7, and glamorizing mass murder as “heroic resistance.” They even recast Israelis as “white supremacists” and “colonizers”—pure fantasy, parroted by American teachers to children too young to know any better.
It’s sickening. Instead of elevating academics, teachers are intent on dumbing down America’s youth and turning classrooms into ideological boot camps. Liberals wring their hands over “misinformation,” but then they pump out pure propaganda—teaching our children to hate Israel and their own country. Apparently, there’s always time to celebrate terrorism—but not enough to teach math or reading.
The numbers don’t lie. Most students flounder below grade level in both reading and math. And what do the unions and leftist educators do? Launch protests, cover classrooms in activist slogans, and demonize anyone who disagrees with their twisted worldview. The Department of Education is a total disaster, and parents are waking up to the damage.
President Trump said it best: it’s time to shut down the corrupt Department of Education and give control back to the states. How many more kids have to suffer in these Marxist indoctrination centers before we say enough is enough?
