This isn’t just bad policy—it’s a slap in the face to hardworking taxpayers who play by the rules.
Two Republicans finally stepped up to say what most of us have been thinking: enough is enough. If the government can’t seal every leak in the system, the least they can do is stop these welfare dollars from streaming out to foreign countries. Why should cash from U.S. taxpayers be used to line the pockets of people overseas? The answer is simple—it shouldn’t. Yet Democrats seem happy to turn a blind eye.
Liberals talk big about caring for “the poor,” but their “compassion” ends at the border. Some of these do-gooders are more focused on global handouts than looking after our own neighbors. At the end of the day, American workers are footing the bill—while welfare cash takes a world tour. It’s about time our politicians remember who they serve. Federal handouts are meant for Americans, not a global ATM. If liberals don’t like it, maybe they should explain to taxpayers why their hard-earned dollars are going everywhere except where they’re needed most—right here at home.
