Once again, the left is showing its true colors. Instead of standing strong for America, Democrats like Hakeem Jeffries are busy crying for “permanent” ceasefires and peddling fears about Donald Trump possibly giving Iran control of a crucial global shipping lane. It’s almost as if they’re rooting for our enemies to call the shots.
Let’s be clear: the real threat to peace and American power isn’t Trump—it’s weak-kneed Democrat leadership. Jeffries and his friends want endless handshakes and nice talk with radical regimes like Iran. Their answer is to push for “permanent” stops to every conflict, no matter the cost or who gets empowered. Could they be any more naïve? Or maybe naive isn’t even the word—it’s willful blindness.
Instead of making America safer or protecting our allies, this crowd refuses to face the facts: strong, decisive action is the only language Iran and its cronies understand. Every time Democrats gripe about temporary measures not being enough, what they really mean is they want to hand over leverage to tyrants. They shiver at the thought of American strength, but bend over backwards for globalist dreams that endanger us all.
And now we’re supposed to believe the left is worried Trump would let Iran control the Strait? That’s laughable. The same people desperate to pull back American influence want us to trust their “expert” opinions on national security. Meanwhile, their policies and “permanent” peace proposals only encourage bad actors to take more and more.
Liberals never saw a backbone they wouldn’t try to snap. The American public should remember who’s siding with America and who just wants applause from global elites. Who do they think they’re fooling—themselves, the Iranians, or the voters?
