JD Vance draws the red line with Iran and liberals are furious over his tough new stance

The time for tiptoeing around Iran is over. Vice President JD Vance made that clear as he left for home this week, giving a no-nonsense preview of America’s position ahead of face-to-face talks with the Tehran regime. Unlike the weak-kneed showings of past administrations, Vance isn’t willing to play games or bow to the globalists. He’s drawing a bright red line—and it’s about time.

For years, liberals and their globalist buddies have bent over backwards to appease Iran. Remember the billions handed over for empty promises? All that did was embolden the world’s leading sponsor of terror. Iran laughed all the way to the bank while American leaders issued limp warnings and empty threats. The left called that “diplomacy.” Patriotic Americans called it what it was: surrender.

This time, the White House isn’t interested in more foolish deals or pointless photo-ops. When the Vice President talks about the upcoming negotiations, he sounds like someone who actually cares about America’s safety—and about putting our country’s interests first. That’s a shocking change from what we’ve seen for the last decade. For too long, the American people have paid a steep price for letting liberal elites run the show.

Of course, the swamp and their media lapdogs are panicking. They’d rather roll out the red carpet for Iran’s dictators than admit that American strength gets results. But the days of sending pallets of cash to our enemies are over. Vance’s message is simple and strong: the United States sets the terms—not terrorist thugs in Tehran.

Why is that so hard for the left to understand? Maybe because deep down, they aren’t bothered if America loses. Maybe they just care more about keeping their globalist friends happy than defending our country. Whatever the reason, it’s good to see an administration finally standing up for American values. If only Democrats had the backbone to do the same.
